Be Trader Academy, headquartered in Pipera, Romania, announced plans to launch BETRA Coin, described as "Romania's first private cryptocurrency". The initiative was led by Ciprian Ciceu (known as "The Wolf of Pipera"), who brings over 20 years of business experience.
Key Features
BETRA Coin operates as an ERC20 token built on the Ethereum blockchain, offering decentralized transactions with user anonymity. Users were promised the ability to conduct transactions starting in April of the following year through BETRA Pay — a digital wallet application.
BETRA Pay wallet would support approximately 200 different cryptocurrencies and enable QR code-based payments at merchants accepting Bitcoin, Ethereum, or other ERC20 tokens. The system emphasizes security through biometric authentication and Secure Enclave encryption technology, with 80% of digital assets stored offline.
Market Perspective
The company projected that the cryptocurrency market would experience significant growth over the next five years, positioning BETRA to capture emerging opportunities in digital payment infrastructure.
